This two hour class begins with pranayama and a gentle flow, then students are guided into supported postures where our masseuse will use techniques aimed at releasing held tensions, creating space for deeper breath and a quieter mind. End with aromatherapy and a hands on savasana!

Yoga for Cancer - Free 8 Week Series

This adaptive yoga program is designed to meet the needs of those in treatment for cancer and beyond. Upon completion of this course the student will be better able to practice yoga as a healing modality for managing stress, fatigue and pain, and improving vitality. The program has a central experiential component that includes the yoga therapies of breathing practices, body postures using a chair, deep relaxation, guided imagery as well as meditation. Some lecture and discussion as well as group sharing will be included. This class is designed to treat the person as an individual and as the collective body, mind, and spirit.

For those in treatment, survivors, and caregivers.

Intro to Yoga Series

Are you brand new to yoga or looking for a deeper understanding to what you experience in class? Join us for our 4-Week Intro to Yoga Series which will lay the groundwork for your practice. You’ll learn about the history of yoga, breathing techniques, and the meaning of those Sanskrit words you hear all the time.We’ll dive deeply into the key asanas (postures) that you encounter in most yoga classes. After this course, you’ll feel confident to explore your yoga in group classes and grow your practice.

This 4-week series will take place on Monday evenings from 5:45pm -6:45pm for 4 consecutive weeks beginning the first Monday of each month.

Investment: $65 includes 2 weeks of unlimited classes after session ends

A Four Week Series On How To Make Your Yoga Work For YOU

Each body is different! Come explore the power of props and how they can be used to create intensity, space, ease, or peace in the body as we explore different asanas. Learning how to modify poses can be a revelation in your practice whether you're a beginner or an advanced yogi. Each class will allow plenty of time to learn the mechanics of postures, individualized modifications, and use of props for security or challenge.

Members: $30 covers entire series
Nonmembers: $79 for entire series or drop in rate for single class
